Kahapon lang ako nakabili ng tribute album sa APO.
Yes, olats, I know.
Okay naman.
Hahaha. Wow, some review.
Some people said it kind of disappointed and didn't meet expectations. 'Di naman masyado, for me at least. Every cover was alright. Yes, even Orange and Lemons', Barbie Almalbis' and Kitchie Nadal's. Haha.
Every cover was fine but Imago's.
What on earth was that?!? The intro was fine. Very bubblegumpop, but fine. Pero pagdating sa kanta mismo... ano yoooon??? Habang nakikinig ako, sinasabi ko sa utak ko, "May mali. May hindi tama talaga..." But I can't pinpoint what was so wrong with it. Especially with that vocals. It just didn't sound right. The upbeat, mala-disco na version didn't suit the song at all. As in. Parang pilit na pilit. Parang pang-noon time show na trying hard sa Channel 13. Basta, hindi talaga bagay. AS IN HINDI BAGAAAAAAY!!! Gargh. Something's really, really wrong. Really, very wrong. I dunno. Or maybe it's just me. (Hahaha, I've been holding this grudge since I watched her gyrating the set away during one of them Beatles Nights at 70s. Funny because I actually liked Imago back when the vocalist was still fat and and image seemed nothing at all to her and everything was all about the music.) Anyhoo, to each his own. (And I really don't feel like arguing with and gaining the wrath of the band's fans.)
Maybe if I listen to their version over and over for one whole week I'll come to like it, too. Hahahaha.
Mag-concentrate na lang tayo sa version ng Drip ng "Kabilugan ng Buwan." Inangkin ng Drip ang galing talaga wow wow wow I *heart* this group talaga.

O, paka-feeling muna tayo. From
Tewe. (Tewe! At long at last matapos ang sampung photos, may na-scan na rin! Hahaha. Talagang 'di makapayag na walang celeb look-alike chuvalu eh 'no.)

So dapat ganito itsura ko palagi para kamukha ko si Angelina Jolie, Audrey Tautou, Amy Weber (who I thought was Eva Longoria) and Christina Applegate. Naaaaaaaaaks.
'lul ka, Din. Magtrabaho ka na nga.
