Have you ever seen someone in prayer and immediately felt so light and peaceful yourself? It’s not everyday that I see something like this and I just found it so fascinating that I froze on this swing I was sitting on and just couldn't take my eyes off him. It felt so rude spying on him, it felt so disrespectful taking a picture of someone in a very private moment, secretly observing him as he prayed but it was just too beautiful a sight to leave. Him silently kneeling on his mat with eyes closed and facing the afternoon sun, the sun's rays shining back gently on his arms and hands turning it's color into a glistening brown, it felt so surreal and solemn a moment that everything seemed to slow down and go into a hush, as if to give regard to this man. It was such an admirable show of faith. Nothing too preachy about it. Walang show off, walang yabang. Ganun lang talaga. Napakasimple. Napakatahimik. Everything's just between him and his Allah. Walang ibang kasali. Simpleng-simple. Naisip ko tuloy, sana tayong lahat ganun rin, tulad sa kanya. Simple lang. Walang ingay. Walang kahit ano. Napakasimple, pero wala nang ibang gaganda pa.
